The 4 Willpower shuts down so many early cards that it forces decks in the meta to adapt
You wont always need a board wipe, so you can always cast it for one of the cheaper modes if theres a problem that needs to be dealt with, but I definitely dont mind destroying all tapped creatures for six mana at instant speed
You can upgrade the deck with some pretty inexpensive cards and improve it a lot
