In 2019 we took a batch of our classic amber rum blended it with a generous measure of local maple syrup and put the entire concoction into a newly emptied American Oak bourbon barrel from Kentucky. After several months, we found the combination to be completely delightful and thus, an entirely new rum was born Ironworks Maple Rum. Add it to coffee or hot apple cider.
